Peter and the Wolf

Dudley Brooks and Rose Gray in 'Peter and the Wolf'

The classic tale set to the famous Prokofiev score.
All will be delighted in the antics of Peter,
his Grandfather, the Bird, the Duck, and the Hunters
as they pursue the misguided Wolf.

The audience will also be treated to two other pieces choreographed by Carvajal.

Hurrah!
A red-white-and-blue salute to our French and English roots.
Set to Benjamin Britten's arrangement of themes from Rossini’s Soirees Musicales. This amusing double pas de deux
finds each side competing with the other for attention and superiority
in the style of the 19th Century ballet.

Next
Facets
Danced to quickly changing, multi-faceted music by Francis Poulenc,
This lovely and amusing ballet epitomizes the French temperament,
sometimes very formal and tradition-bound,
at other times scintillating and humorous,
and finally longing for romance and sentiment.
The setting is the late 1920’s, when the Charleston was the rage.

Now for a change in pace!

Run For Your Life!...it's a dance company!

As a special treat,
Rosa Montoya’s Bailes Flamencos
will bring to PBT audiences the world premiere of
Three Spanish Impressions
Co-choreographed by Carvajal and Montoya.
This collaborative work showcases a classical Spanish blend of techniques
which express the haunting music of Ravel’s Rapsodie Español.

A must see show!
