Jose Navarrete was born in Mexico City (formerly Tenochtitlan). He came to the United States to dance. He has been dancing with Joanna Haigood's Zaccho Dance Theater.  Meanwhile he trains with Arturo Fernandez at the San Francisco Institute of Choreography.

Mr. Navarrete has performed in Run For Your Life!'s Les Sillyphides.
