[Rose Gray and Matthew Child in 'Jungle Shoes' -- photo by Rob Lee]Two shapes pass in the night. Is it a chance meeting, or is it -- destiny?

Two lumbering foam-rubber “giraffosaurs” meet, engage in ritual combat, and decide that their unique bodies are better suited to creating dances than to destroying each other.

A humorous and abstract slapstick duet for foam-rubber creatures. Bernie Krause's sophisticatedly primitive Jungle Disco music inspired the creation of two exaggerated and brightly colored human animals. The choreography explores line, shape, and rhythm.
