Kevin Sean Halle received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, where he worked in
the laboratory of Prof. Leon O. Chua. His current research interests are in experimental chaos, computer chip design, and the design of stereo components.
His past research has included work on optical inputs for Cellular Neural Networks, implementaion of the Hebbian learning rule for the first on-chip-learning neural network,
and computer architectures.
His practical interests have lead to the design and construction of a laser oscilloscope for the demonstration of chaos and other nonlinear circuit phenomena, a 16-bit TTL
implementation of the FORTH language, work on a new family of CPUs, improved stereo amplifier and speaker design, and self-controlled irrigation systems.
Mr. Halle designed the self-contained robot, "Mr. Waggon", for Facade — an Entertainment
