Kim Workman

Kim Workman has been an active member of Gamelan Sekar Jaya's Angklung ensemble since 2007, performing in numerous shows throughout the Bay Area and beyond, and has studied Balinese dance with Emiko Susilo Sawaswati and Ni Ketut Arini.  Run For Your Life! was  Kim's first foray into modern dance.  A long-time Bay Area transplant from the midwest, Kim coordinates several programs at SF State's College of Extended Learning, where she enjoys the benefit of being a perpetual student.  Kim is also a jewelry artist who sells her work locally, a certified scuba diver, and a volunteer DJ at KUSF radio station. She lives in San Francisco with her son Owen, who attends CCSF.
