Choreography: Dudley Brooks

Music: Igor Stravinsky

Boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy loses soul, Devil gets soul.

A Roaring 20's version of Stravinsky's dance/theater masterpiece. A silent-movies-style romp for a Soldier turned Businessman/Gangster, his High Society "Princess", a Violin, a Magic Book, the Devil, and Filthy Lucre.

The Soldier's Tale can be performed in three versions: the complete hour-long theatrical version with text; a half-hour dance-only version; and the Tango/Waltz/Ragtime as an excerpt.
